Another Survival Shooter
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
(2018)
I had created this project to show what I could make with my programming skills so far. This project contains elements that I already knew or wanted to know about. I started this project at home and gained permission to show this project at the exhibition on March the 8th, 2018, at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam. The exhibition was an opportunity for students to show their work to other people.
Story: You'll come in a world that is dark and cold. You are alone. There are enemies which you should attack to survive. The game starts near a lake. There are camps nearby. The world got several camps and places. You can find items to survive at camps. It's necessary to collect as many items as possible. This is because it's the only way to get health back. It makes the game more challenging. In the world, you have to collect ten scrolls. This will give you the key to the 'safe room'. When you get in the 'safe room', you've completed the game. You're survived. There are also dungeons. You have to complete them to get a scroll and come out. It's a bit more complex, and there will be some puzzles. If you complete them, you can open the door. When you're dead, you have to start over again.
I think I've made a fun product. I've got a lot of good reactions. Multiple people of different ages have played my game. They were very positive despite the fact there were some bugs in it.
